Tersiocity mark
Since 2003 · GTD Blackbelt

Concise, effective, and elegant.

I'm Michael Wilson — a technology consultant, GTD coach, and pastoral care volunteer based in Sequim, Washington. Tersiocity began in the code editor and grew into a way of working and serving— helping people craft clear systems, build reliable tech, and communicate with purpose.

What is Tersiocity?

Tersiocity was born from a compliment. Years ago, while writing code at Magellan Networks, colleagues described my style as "terse" — concise, effective, and elegant. Over time, that word came to define more than programming; it became a reflection of my teaching, my communication, and my approach to life.

Since 2003, I've also become a GTD Blackbelt, helping people take control of their time and tasks through systems that bring order, focus, and peace of mind. I also serve with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and at Kingsway Church — which keeps me grounded in what technology is actually for: people.

Today, Tersiocity is a small, steady practice: technology consulting, productivity coaching, and thoughtful communication— delivered with care and a bias for simplicity.

Who I work best with

I work best with individuals and small organizations who feel like their tools and systems are running them — rather than the other way around. Solo professionals, ministry leaders, small business owners, and anyone who wants their technology and workflow to serve their actual life. If you value clarity over complexity, we'll get along well.

"Michael has a gift for making the complex simple — whether it's a tangled workflow or a technology decision I'd been putting off for months. One conversation with him was worth more than hours of YouTube tutorials."

How I Can Help

GTD & Productivity Coaching

Practical, tools-agnostic coaching to build a trusted system you'll actually use. Capture, clarify, and execute with confidence.

Technology Consulting

Mac, networks, storage, automation, and workflows. From first setup to long-term care, I keep your tools simple and reliable.

Teaching & Mentoring

Clear, compassionate guidance—whether we're unpacking a new app, learning to code, or aligning work with values.

Tech History

The systems and habits I use today didn't appear from nowhere. They were built across decades of real work — early computing, fast-moving tech companies, tools that shaped how I think about productivity. These are some of those stories.

Getting Productive: The Palm V Years

How a QA Manager role at an online payroll startup, a Palm V, and David Allen's GTD system built the habits I still run on today — with DateBk, Pocket Informant, Agendus, and a very heavy Franklin Planner.

A short conversation is the best way to find out if I can help. No pressure, no pitch — just a friendly chat about where you are and where you'd like to be.
